National Marketing Communications Award (MCA) Winners Announced

Congratulations to all 2008 recipients of the 31st Annual National Marketing Communications Awards (MCA)! Awards were announced at Build Business: Innovate to Elevate, the SMPS/PSMA National Conference.

The Best of Show Award for a Large Firm, bestowed by a jury of client and industry professionals, was awarded to the Reilly Communications & The Freelon Group, Boston, MA entry.  The jury bestowed the Best of Show Award for a Small Firm to Hoffmann Architects, Inc., Hamden, CT. The People's Choice Award winner, voted on by conference attendees, was RATIO Architects, Inc., Indianapolis, IN.

Call for Presentations: Build Business, the 2009 SMPS National Conference

Proposal Deadline: September 8, 2008
The Conference Planning Committee invites you to submit a proposal for a breakout session or workshop for "Build Business: Strategy. Risk. Reward," the SMPS National Conference, July 15-18, 2009, in Las Vegas, NV.  This intensive three-day conference is packed with approximately 30 powerful learning sessions, dynamic keynote speakers, and networking opportunities that encourage participants to make and renew valuable business contacts.

The committee is soliciting proposals on cutting-edge topics related to business development, marketing, leadership, and management that are vital to the success of firms and professionals in the design and building industry.
